My Grandma's kitchen
I don't know the Original Poet, but my Grandma Wilma Dane had this hanging in her kitchen and I've had it hanging in mine:
Thank God for Dirty Dishes, they have a tale to tell.
While others may go hungry, we're eating very well.
With home and health and happiness,
We shouldn't want to fuss...
By the Stack of evidence,
God's been very Good to Us!
and this one too!
The Dishes and Dusting can wait for Tommorrow;
For Babies grow up, as we've learned to our sorrow;
So settle down Cobwebs and Dust go to Sleep;
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!
Thank God for Dirty Dishes, they have a tale to tell.
While others may go hungry, we're eating very well.
With home and health and happiness,
We shouldn't want to fuss...
By the Stack of evidence,
God's been very Good to Us!
and this one too!
The Dishes and Dusting can wait for Tommorrow;
For Babies grow up, as we've learned to our sorrow;
So settle down Cobwebs and Dust go to Sleep;
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!
